The NRA is well aware of the proposed Organization of American States treaty on firearms trafficking, known by its Spanish initials as CIFTA. The NRA monitored the development of this treaty from its earliest days, but contrary to news reports today, the NRA did not "participate" at the meeting where the treaty was approved.

The treaty does include language suggesting that it is not intended to restrict "lawful ownership and use" of firearms . Despite those words, the NRA knows that anti-gun advocates will still try to use this treaty to attack gun ownership in the U.S. Therefore, the NRA will continue to vigorously oppose any international effort to restrict the constitutional rights of law-abiding American gun owners.

President Obama Bows to Saudi King Abdullah

In what’s been called a “shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate,” President Barack Obama bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia at the Group of 20 summit meeting in London.

"The bow was an extraordinary protocol violation," the Washington Times observed in an editorial on Tuesday.

"Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king's subjects, not his peer. There is no precedent for U.S. presidents bowing to Saudi or any other royals."

Obama offered King Abdullah a deep and prolonged bow from the waist when he meet him at the summit, which brought together the leaders of the world’s largest economies on April 2.

"No Americans of any station are required to bow to royalty," the Times stated. "It is one of the pillars of American exceptionalism that our country rejected traditional caste divisions."

The Times editorial also opined that Obama's bow "to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques does not help his image with those who believe he is secretly a Muslim, and why he chose to bow only to the Saudi king and not to any other royal remains unexplained."

For instance, Obama did not bow to Queen Elizabeth when he first met her last week in London. Subjects of the Crown may bow to the monarch, but are not required to do so.

TOO LATE......ever wonder why the main stream media never reported this....perhaps many Americans still do not know that the national guard entered homes in AL and LA after Hurricane Katrina and seized the registered guns from the home owners wishing to protect their family and property from looting.

Confiscation of firearms:

Controversy arose over a September 8 city-wide order by New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass to local police, National Guard troops, and US Marshals to confiscate all civilian-held firearms. "No one will be able to be armed," Compass said. "Guns will be taken. Only law enforcement will be allowed to have guns." Seizures were carried out without warrant, and in some cases with excessive force; one instance captured on film involved 58 year old New Orleans resident Patricia Konie. Konie stayed behind, in her well provisioned home, and had an old revolver for protection. A group of police entered the house, and when she refused to surrender her revolver, she was tackled and it was removed by force. Konie's shoulder was fractured, and she was taken into police custody for failing to surrender her firearm. Even National Guard troops, armed with assault rifles, were used for house to house searches, seizing firearms and attempting to get those remaining in the city to leave.

Angered citizens, backed by the National Rifle Association and other organizations, filed protests over the constitutionality of such an order and the difficulty in tracking seizures, as paperwork was rarely filed during the searches. Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association, defended the right of affected citizens to retain firearms, saying that, "What we’ve seen in Louisiana - the breakdown of law and order in the aftermath of disaster - is exactly the kind of situation where the Second Amendment was intended to allow citizens to protect themselves." The searches received little news coverage, though reaction from groups such as the NRA, the Second Amendment Foundation, and Gun Owners of America was immediate and heated, and a lawsuit was filed September 22 by the NRA and SAF on behalf of two firearm owners whose firearms were seized. On September 23, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana issued a restraining order to bar further firearms confiscations.

After refusing to admit that it had any seized firearms, the city revealed in mid-March that it did have a cache of some 1000 firearms seized after the hurricane; this disclosure came after the NRA filed a motion in court to hold the city in contempt for failure to comply with the U.S. District Court's earlier order to return all seized firearms. On April 14, 2006, it was announced that the city will begin to return seized firearms, however as of early 2008, many firearms were still in police possession, and the matter was still in court.

Obama Begins Turnover of USA Sovereignty to International Body

Moving as quickly as he can to gut the USA and then divide its body parts amongst like-minded globalists, the USA’s Supreme Leader Barack Hussein Obama used the G-20 conference to begin his turnover of USA sovereignty to said internationalists and start the move toward a one-world government. Obama has signed off on international legislation—the Financial Stability Board—that would regulate ALL firms, including those within the USA and places them under the responsibility of an international governmental agency.

On FNC’s Greta Van Susteren’s program, author and columnist Dick Morris noted “literally from April 2nd of this year, that is, today, it’s a whole new world of financial regulation in which, essentially, ALL of the U.S. regulatory bodies and ALL U.S. companies are put under international regulation, international supervision. It really amounts to a global economic government.”

Called the Financial Stability Board (FSB), the pending international body’s legislation—which will of course override the US Constitution—states: “We agree to a framework of internationally agreed upon high standards. We will set up a financial stability board with a strengthened mandate to extend regulation and oversight to all systemically important financial institutions, instruments and markets”—including hedge funds, all—anything that they decide is important to the system—to endorse and implement tough new principles on paying (ph) compensation and to support sustainable compensation schemes and the corporate social responsibility of ALL firms.” The international community will now be able to determine the salaries and compensation of us all.

During this same conference, Obama officially announced the reduction in US nuclear weaponry, so that Iran will be more amenable to sitting down to talk with the US. In other words, he’s again announced to the world that the USA is no longer a threat to anyone—let alone terrorists. Never before in our soon to be short-lived history has the United States of America had this sort of a leader who has now announced—in no uncertain terms—that it is his plan and duty to dismantle and destroy the country he represents. He, his administration members and his Congress (with extraordinary assistance from most notably Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd and their friends) have devastated the US economy, are in the process of eliminating the First and Second Amendments—and the entire US Constitution—have ended free enterprise, established his national youth indoctrination—if not police—force (via the GIVE—Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education—Act) and have begun the process of taking over virtually all private companies.

In not yet 100 days, Obama and Company have almost destroyed this country. Under this constant and increasing onslaught and devastation from within—by our “leaders”—can the USA stand much longer? Seriously, can it?

Gateway Pundit says he contacted the LA Times to ask about a video showing Barack Obama at a party for radical Islamist Rashid Khalidi, mentioned by the LA Times in this article: Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama.

At Khalidi’s going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. “You will not have a better senator under any circumstances,” Khalidi said.

The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.

LA Times writer Peter Wallsten said he won’t release the video or reveal his sources: Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative... Refuse to Release the Video!

If true, this is media malfeasance of an almost astounding degree. They have a video that could change the stakes in this election and they’re hiding it. And they’ve been hiding it since last April.

Contact the Los Angeles Times and demand that they release this video.

In Chicago, the Khalidis founded the Arab American Action Network, and Mona Khalidi served as its president. A big farewell dinner was held in their honor by AAAN with a commemorative book filled with testimonials from their friends and political allies. These included the left wing anti-war group Not In My Name, the Electronic Intifada, and the ex-Weatherman domestic terrorists Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. Effective March 1, 2009 all ammo manufacturers must have coded serial numbers on each bullet so the current stock, on store shelves, do not have the required serial numbers and have been pulled. Ammo manufacturers are having to re-tool to be in compliance with the new regulations. It is now against the law to sell bullets that do not have identifying serial numbers so that is why there is a "shortage":

Under this act, a person commits the crime of unlawful sale of uncoded ammunition if he or she sells any ammunition that has not been coded after March 1, 2009.

Effective January 1, 2011 it will be illegal for any person to have in their possession any ammo that is not coded: A person commits the crime of unlawful possession of uncoded ammunition if he or she possesses ammunition that has not been coded or where the code has been rendered unreadable after January 1, 2011.

They will not infringe upon our right to bear arms but they can infringe upon our ability to by ammo. They will first regulate the ammo. This is exactly what England and Australia faced...first comes regulation and soon to follow is confiscation....it's only a matter of time before they have a database of who is buying what.

SB 1200 Creates new regulations for the manufacturing and sale of ammunition

Current Bill Summary:

SB 1200 - This act requires the department of public safety to develop and maintain an ammunition coding system database containing certain information provided by manufacturers and vendors of firearm ammunition. The information shall only be made available to law enforcement agencies to be used in criminal investigations. The database shall be developed and operational by January 1, 2009. Manufacturers and vendors that do not provide the required information shall be subject to civil fines.

The cost of maintaining the database shall be paid from the newly created "Ammunition Coding System Database Fund". Vendors of firearm ammunition shall charge an additional one-half cent per bullet or round of ammunition and the money shall be forwarded to the state treasurer to be deposited into the fund.

Under this act, a person commits the crime of unlawful sale of uncoded ammunition if he or she sells any ammunition that has not been coded after March 1, 2009. Unlawful sale of uncoded ammunition is a Class A misdemeanor.

A person commits the crime of unlawful possession of uncoded ammunition if he or she possesses ammunition that has not been coded or where the code has been rendered unreadable after January 1, 2011. Unlawful possession of uncoded ammunition is Class A misdemeanor. The term "coded ammunition" shall mean a bullet carrying a unique identifier that has been applied by etching onto the base of the bullet projectile.

While learning "high school taught" Government, I was appalled when my sophomore came home with the definition of our form of government as: Republic - aka - Democracy. I sent the following two YouTube videos to her professor. It would do us all a world of good to watch these videos because knowledge is POWER!

I suggest that somebody take a clip of Obama speaking about the Federal Stimulus Package, Federal bailout, Federal Universal Healthcare and other programs...anything that Obama speaks about where he mentions the word Federal and replace/voice over the word Federal with the word taxpayer. Play 10, 20, 30 second tidbits, with the taxpayer voice over, repeatedly during the show [radio or tv] until enough people hear it and wise up/figure it out.

Too many Americans are complacent and I fear that they have no idea that the word Federal really means taxpayer...perhaps they think that there is a Federal tooth fairy who slips dollars into the Treasury treasure chest.

Somebody needs to spell it out for them so that they realize that every time Obama says Federal he is really saying taxpayer.
