I dont think he ever expected TNA to pay for any of his bills. I'm sure most wrestlers are well aware of their status of being independent contractors so they wouldn't expect employers to pay for any medical needs they might need outside of the ring.

That said, TNA and smaller promotions dont cover medical cost. Its not Zema's fault they have this in common with each other. If TNA doesn't want to look bush league in that regard they should change it or take these things in stride and realize Zema did not mean to make them look bad, he simply did not want to be buried in debt for the rest of his life and chose a not totally ideal solutions.

Jeff Hardy/Aries/Roode from Genesis is one that should at least get mentioned.

Not sure they should go after him if the reports of his attitude are true. I don't see enough in him to warrant TNA taking on that headache.

If the rumors are true they should look into getting him, but he'd probably make more on the indy scene than TNA would pay him anyway.
