Going to delete this, because I see fandom wank looming on the horizon, and I'd rather not have the personal bits end up there. Also, kinda noticed by the lack of replies that it kinda doesn't matter if people of certain opinions get triggered here, so I am done. I used to have a lot of joy in this place, but the ugly, over the top comments have ruined it for me. I've been a Mark Watches fan girl for years, but I won't be excited anymore. Only incredibly uncomfortable. I wish you all all the luck in the rest of your endevours.

When I first saw this episode, I was excited as hell. "They mate like Klingons!". I squeed. Cause I am forever a nerd. And superpowered people who have a fight as foreplay totally made sense in my head.

Will say: first time I heard Goodbye to You was in this episode, and the poppy version they play on the radio pales in comparison.

Also, I always found it fascinating that mind wiped Spike doesn't just, ya know, be a vampire. He's more human than he lets on isn't he?

Oh and more Spike thoughts: him standing on the edge of sunlight and shadow will always be one of my favorite visual metaphors in this show.
