So I have an iphone 3g running 06.15.00 bb on 4.1firmware on t-mobile and I was planning on upgrading it to iOS 5 using custom firmware from Whited00r but I've been waiting for an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5. Is there one in development and if so would it be worth waiting for or should I just go ahead and upgrade and use the tethered jailbreak?

2. add ultrasnow repo to cydia
3. find ultrasnow in cydia
4. download ultrasnow

**HELP**
Earlier this week I updated my iphone to 6.15 baseband and I just now used cydelete to delete the springjumps cydia app and after, i tried to delete something else but when i hit the x it didn't work so hit the power and came to the slide screen and then the slider but wouldn't slide so I was forced to restore but an error on itunes came up saying iphone could not be restored unknown error occured (1015)

how long should it take to fetch the ipad baseband? I've been waiting like 5 min and nothing has moved on the loading bar. Is this normal?

I have a 3g iphone
On FW 4.1 and BB 5.14.02
Do I have to update to 4.2.1 or can I stay at 4.1 and just install the 6.15 BB?
