I agree with your middle paragraph there. Applejack and Rarity have always seemed like the oldest to me because they both have a good understanding of the realities of running their respective businesses, which is something that would only come with age and experience. Although Rainbow Dash does sometimes look young she's pretty high up the ranks of the weather ponies so unless she has friends in high places* she'd have had to work her way to that position. Twilight seems pretty naive sometimes so she's likely to be the youngest. Pinkie's age is probably a matrix of complex numbers and requires tying knots in the number line.
* That's a pegasus joke. Sorry.
I'm not so sure. Does it actually need to be supported? All that matters is that it keeps running. There are several pieces of software I use that aren't supported but it doesn't matter because I never need support on them, and in some ways it's beneficial because I know that I'm never going to be in a position where a developer makes a change that breaks or removes a feature I need.
Unsupported means stable. Almost every software-related problem I have comes from people changing things that didn't need changing.
I remember most of these. A great artist.
I hope the embedded pictures can be disabled. What inevitably happens is that there are some people who think that the picture they've found is the best thing ever and they just know that everyone else wants to see it, so they post it without stopping to think that it might be better to post a link and give people the choice. Then twenty other people do the same thing, and before too long everyone has to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll just to get past a handful of messages.
Improve season six? Make it live action, but with costumed lizards instead of ponies.
Hrmph. That animation appears to be running backwards.
The catch is that people think of Christmas Day and the New Year's Day that falls a week later so they answer "none of them" because those days are in different years, whereas Christmas Day and the New Year's Day 51 weeks before it are always in the same year so the correct answer is "all of them".
The only thing I've done with it so far is add a stylesheet to change the background of the bar above the top-level comments so it's easier to pick them out when scrolling through.
ul#post-list > li > div.post-content > div.post-body > header { background-color: #ddf; }
Yes. Hate it. If you're not there in a conversation right at the start it's too much effort paging down through all the comments to find something worth joining. It wouldn't be so bad if it collapsed the tree while keeping the top-level comments visible, but it starts out with everything expanded and when you collapse something you can't see what it was about any more.
The more I see of Disqus the more I think it's a write-only system. It's designed for people who want to leave comments, not people who want to have a conversation.
