I remember I was reading a webcomic called "Sandra and Woo" back in 2011. I was aware that MLP had been out for some time but was skeptical, despite all the fanwork and praise it was getting. The artist for the comic recommended two episodes that were their favorites- "Sonic Rainboom" and "Bridle Gossip", the later being one of my favorites in that season. After that, I started the series from episode 1 and haven't missed an episode since.

Sethisto, thank you so much for posting this. I know that this is a major concern within the fandom, and its always been in the back of my mind ever since I "joined the her", so to speak, back in 2011. It was something that i was worrying about yesterday, but hearing what you have to say now is a big relief to me.

Its fantastic what it has become and grown and I have noticed there is always a group of us that stays even during the hiatus. I have always come back here everyday, maybe never commenting but always looking to see whats going on in the fandom, and I have seen people come and go. Its still nice that, after all this time, there is a place here for fellow fans to share works and talk and just enjoy an aspect of their life here.

Thank you so much, Seth, for creating this website. You and all the other moderators (is that the right term?) have helped to keep this fandom alive for years now, and I look forward to all future endeavors. Keep up the fantastic work, and to everyone else here who finds themselves herding back here, whether during the season or the drought, thank you for keeping a good thing alive.

(Bit of a rant, i apologize. Skip if you want.)

Another writing month gone by and not a single word written. It seems like school and work always get in the way, or I make that excuse anyway.

It doesn't help I feel like "whats the point?" since I always believe that the fandom will no longer be here. It gets worse every year. Who would read it then?

Well, whatever. I'm making excuses. With the next season and the new movies coming out, there will still be people here. Even if there isn't, i should write for me, right? Write for my sakes. Ill be here next year and I will write something by then! Hell, this is the first time since a while that I am commenting on EQD. Been a watcher for years- maybe its time to do something? Better late then never!

But the guide here is really useful for future endeavors, and if anyone is still writing and reading here on EQD next year, I will certainly enter!

In any case, have a happy AJ day everyone!

Well, Hiatus is here and its time for the fanwork to shine! I confess, I haven't seen the latest season- I think I stopped at around episode 5- but I have continued to come here and see whats been going on in the fandom and seeing all the awesome artwork and fics you guys make! I'll get to season 5 eventually....as soon as i finish grad assignements. And writing fics. And reading fics. And Games.

...Is it possible to finish Fallout 4? I dont think I did any favors in terms of time management by starting Undertale as well....
