It has been the understood language of our nation. Thomas Jefferson pushed for the ratification of English to the the OFFICIAL language, but was shot down by the likes of Ben Franklin and John Adams. SO it was adopted THEN as the national language. It is not official, nothing written saying it, but maybe we should write it down as the OFFICIAL USofA LANGUAGE.

There is a difference between OFFICIAL and ADOPTED. Don't be an @$$hole...

The only true factor the Stock Market has on Main Street is that regular Joes aren't buying stock. I do not own much stock. Most of the people I know do not own much stock, but they would like to know that the stock they do own is not going to be worth half the price they paid for it. But to answer you, the greatest effect the Stock Market has on Main Street is it causes a PANIC... When stocks started dropping fast in September, Americans went into Panic mode.

And remember that most of these Illegal Bastards are using the Emergency Room as thier own private physician instead of getting insurance and going to a regular Doctor for the sniffles. They give false information, get treated, and the Hospitals eat the bill.

Illegal Immigrant is a term that has been used too loosely within this country. If they are here illegally, then they are Illegal, no more Immigrant/Alien question. If they are not supposed to be here, get rid of them. Stop paying for thier children to go to my schools. Stop paying for thier healthcare. Stop paying them not to work. Stop giving them Unemployment for being unable to speak ENGLISH. English was adopted as the nation's language. Let's start enforcing things IN ENGLISH. I don't want to start seeing red pentagon signs on the side of the road that say "ALTO", I want them to say "STOP". If you cannot conduct business or government because nothing is written in a foriegn language, then you do not qualify...

I found it invigorating that Fox actually aired thier show "Lie to Me" instead of the BO hoopla asskissing affair. It is more understanding to want to make the advertising money, plus they were probably covering it on the news channels. I can look at the transcipts later if I really want to, or I can watch all the coverage today on the news. I will eventually find out what was said. When OUR President has to have questions provided beforehand, it just seems like the right questions are not going to be asked.

The most meaningful question of all: Are you aware that you are the President of the United States of America, and that you are to hold these United States above any and all other interests? What are your vested interests that would make it difficult for you to decide between what is best for you and what is best for WE THE PEOPLE?

Plus the fact that a large majority of campaign promises have fallen by the wayside of the Obama "issues of the day". I really want to see just how many campaing promises are broken, and which ones are kept...

Pretty much anything that some one does not agree with will be that answer. I see it as I finally hit a nerve and people are still not using thier brain, but still running on emotion or knee-jerk reactions.

Just look at it as people are actually reading what you have to say, whether they be happy with what you say or not.

Why would we think that the President didn't know that they were taking Air Force One for a joy ride? It is preposterous. It doesn't make any sense to me. Do they think we are that niave?
