This story reads more like an ego trip for Ken O'Neal, I imagine he was in his flights suit, aviators on, and the sun glaring in the background as he lit a cigar....

How could she possibly know that? It's obvious from the story that she did not witness the shooting, and it seems clear that the Officer meant to Kill the dog. I feel for her, I love dogs and have met more pitt bulls that let me pet them than growled or charged at me, but she's wrong to blame the police.

This is getting ridiculous. I understand the affront and anger at some of the other stories that have come out of the investigation into Seattle PD--but this??? It's called 'gallows humor,' it may seem cynical and inhuman to some, but as a police officer or fire fighter you cannot get emotionally involved in the incidents you deal with. The only reason we know about this is because the cops were dumb enough to have the conversation while their cameras were rolling, this was never meant to be heard by the public, it was meant officer to officer.
