"Being his own man" ALSO means that, if he decides he wants to do business with the WWE, he's free to do so. He's already done his wrestling career the way he wanted. Now he can get the credit he deserves, endorse a ton of new products (including, hopefully, lots of Sting DVDs) for his fans, and end his career on a high note. Being able to fill his swimming pool with cold, hard cash probably won't hurt either.

Since he's planning on sticking with the WWE Network once the price increases, I'd assume he'll go with GFW.

You might be right. I hadn't watched in a couple of weeks, and I know that I DID make a point of watching it just because it could be AJ's last match in TNA for a while. The show was good overall, though, so I'll probably watch next time, too.
