I agree. Coming from the south. I actually stopped reading comments on here a while back because I started seeing it in the comments.
It was a tough scene to drive by. When I went past, a trooper had his arm around a man, obviously consoling him. Very sad, and I hope the driver will be OK.
Very horrible. My daughter went to that day care. Luckily, she wasn't there overnight. Dakota initially lived in Idaho with his father, and after a year or so of the daycare being opened came to live with his mom. Had I known ANY of this I would not have EVER let her go there. Like I said, my daughter was not one that was hurt by him. But I know that I sure had no clue that anything like that was going on. Scares the hell out of me looking back now.
That made me laugh. Is that wrong of me??
My husband and I were going to go there last night. Thank goodness we didn't. And my son works at the Burger King where the shooting happened yesterday. Thank goodness he was not there. So many things to be thankful for. I wish the victims a speedy recovery, and lots of mental help for the shooter! Think Muckleshoot will put up metal detectors now?
If they really are as stupid as you say they are, they will not learn. Stupid people do not. Now while I agree that is was not smart of them to not cool off the fireworks properly, and to put them with unspent fireworks, I would not call them stupid. I would call them ignorant. I feel sorry for these people that they have damaged their house and van while thinking they were doing a good thing. But stupid? Naw. Just uneducated.
Oh my gosh, how traggic. I am so sad for them, and I pray that God helps those still surviving. I could not imagine the nightmare they are going through right now.
I agreed with what you said earlier to grumps, but now it seems as though you are just out to correct everyone. I think feline99 was absolutly right in giving her opinion that she thinks seattleites believe Knox is innocent. I mean, we are posting opinions, I think.
While it is true that you can post anywhere you want, keep in mind that you are on a news website, and although this may not seem like much to you, there are actually a lot of people interested, and it IS news, especially since they are reporting what happened today in court, and the new revelations. I think that it is a huge deal if a key witness that placed her at or near the scene is found to be unreliable. That could overturn her whole case, and set her free. Quite a big deal, actually.
Now, I do not know if she is guilty or innocent. There are very few people that do know. Her, her boyfriend, and the other guy if she did it, if not, those three plus the guilty party. I hope that whomever is guilty pays for it, and every one else is freed. In the meantime, I would like to see the updates. I understand that you are tired of reading this story. I am sure she is tired of being the center of a story. But you could always do what the rest of us do when we see a story on a topic we are sick of...don't read it.
Yup. selfish, greedy people. What is sad is that even after all the warnings, there will still be some people that will fall for these scams everytime. When people start getting intelligent, then the scams will stop.
