Also, no matter how pretty they make Ginny look, she'll always seem too innocent looking for me, and so I don't think I'll ever buy the relationship with Harry on screen. But, then again, I didn't really buy their relationship in the books either...
But I totally love Luna. Great casting; I think I may like her more in the movies than in the books. We'll have to see.

The girl who plays Lavender looks a little comical, but maybe that's the angle they're going to put on that whole relationship. It's one of those things that I can't make any solid judgement about until I see it on screen.

Agreed. She's definitely attractive, but not the red head bombshell that she's described as being in the books.

Well yea, I know it's just "The Office" I was just specifying in case someone read it and was like "That was Jim not Tim" and then got all huffy thinking I was referring to the US version.

I agree with everyone about how trans-gender and homosexual are two separate ideas, and that the comparison is a bit of a stretch. There's really nothing else I can add, except for that I, myself, named my dog "Oliver" when I was six even though she was a girl. Looks like I was ahead of my time, and maturity level. Just kidding, just kidding, I meant no cynicism by that.

Hahaha I didn't know who everyone was referring to until you mentioned that he was in The British Office. Now that seems perfect.

Yes, but Christopher Lee was in Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and Ian McKellen did LOTR and X-men, so the sci-fi/fantasy world has seen some cross-overs.

Despite the lame ending, there is still pleanty to work with for next season. I'm still excited.

I know this is a cop out, but there's really no way to tell until this generation's actors are older and have all ready made their best movies. But I, like everyone, disagree with the the Shia and Bruce thing. Mostly because Bruce Willis is immortal, and Shia is more like the token kid that dies early.

Ah yes, good one.
