I'm just hoping those memories last long enough for my kids to take THEIR kids camping so they can fall down at our feet and thank us for bringing them camping. �This was the first time I've gone as an adult and realized how much work it is. �I felt like falling down at MY parents feet and thanking them profusely for putting up with us. �=)

At one point, I just stood in the campfire smoke to get rid of the gnats. �That and about a baker's dozen citronella candles helped. �We found a great deal on a double high air mattress and I still had to pump it up each night 'cause it felt squishy. �That's about as roughing it as I get. �=)

It's just so much rain. Hopefully, the trees won't get soaked and start falling on power lines but if they do, I'm sure they are thrilled to have the generator!! They'll be very happy with a smart trade!
