"Humanoids" has always been one of my favorite horror films. It is a cult classic. So glad they're bringing the uncut version here. Day one for me!

"Piranha" will have a ultracool lenticular cover.

HBO has denounced the June release date. The miniseries will not be available on DVD or Blu-ray any earlier than the second half of the year.

Great review. I couldn't agree with you more. I found myself doing something throughout this film that seldom happens while viewing. Grinning. Not necessarily at a particular scene, but grinning at the pure enjoyment of the movie. The writing, the acting, the whole kit and kaboodle. When a film is this well constructed, it's hard to not smile and enjoy. :)

What a shame. He could have had a prosperous career had he not gotten into drugs. He'll always be remembered for "The Lost Boys". I recently re-watched him in "Stephen King's Silver Bullet". :(
