Wow, you sure have some crazy idea of what a license plate return tells the police. Also, how about we not persecute them for not doing anything about something that they couldn't have known at the time.

Yelling out your window while driving, while strange, isn't illegal. Had these guys reacted to it, then you all would be jumping in their face for "overreacting." I feel bad for those guys at SPD, they can't do anything right by anybody. You think you could do it better, then sign your a$$ up and give it a shot.

Of course the kick couldn't possibly have come BEFORE the camera pans to the incident, or have been edited out. While some of these videos do show the whole story, they mostly do not. The cameras get turned on AFTER an initial confrontation and show the aftermath, which of course always shows the police responding to that initial issue.

He can only be involuntarily committed IF he/she presents a danger to himself or others. Nothing in this story indicates that was the case. Even his father stated he never thought it would go like this, yet he seems to blame police for not revoking his permit.

So in your world, EVERYONE should be armed? Not realistic. With Lakewood, there were FOUR armed and trained people in there and still the POS only got shot once, and that was after one officer went on the offensive. How many civilians will do that as opposed to just playing defense?

Then as former LEO you should know that there's no way to say that this would "NOT" have occurred had the victims been carrying. The Lakewood 4 were carrying and it didn't help them.
