I dunno, I'm at episode 8 and some more terrible stuff has happened, but overall I just don't get what the show is trying to say.
Nazis are bad, yeah sure, I've got that, but apart from that...

So, reboot Battlestar - all about how enemies are among us, they look like us, (are they us?) we can turn on the people we have loved if they are outed as the 'other'. Old Twilight Zones - mainly the take home message appears to be "The real monster is mankind" (Or sometimes everyone is already dead, or you made a deal with Satan by accident, but that's less relevant to my point here).
I just think The Man In The High Castle could be better. They could use language we hear now, Homeland rather than Fatherland; for example, and the message should be "What good was winning the Second World war (Or any War) if we succumb to totalitarianism to fight the enemy? (In PK Dicks case, that was communism, in our case it is the equally nebulous "terrorism' ) .

It's only been 10 years since America lost the war in MIHC and yet resistance is negligible. The world building is lacking in depth. Why is everything so German? Why isn't there an American Puppet Government?

How can Japan maintain any control in North America when it's so bloody large?

The Central belt is no mans land. That is where all the food comes from. Who is feeding the americas.
