Really, they can replace them "real easy"? The people that play professional football are the best of the best. They spend their whole lives training and working to be where they are. The NFL draws a HUGE crowd and is the most popular sport in the US today. Who are you to say what the NFL/Players should do with their money anymore than the NFL should decide what you do with yours?

If you don't like football...go somewhere else. There are plenty of people who do like football. Do you actually think that if you whine hard enough an activist group will fall out of the sky and make professional sports disappear?

Why do you hope they can find a medical condition? Who cares? Either way it was something that he did not do on purpose and likely did not even realize it had happened until it was over. People just need to realize that **** just happens. Get over it.

The real blame should fall on the FAA for not being prepared for something like this. Randy Babbitt can go **** himself also. He is personnaly outraged that a person fell asleep? I am presonally outraged that only idiots can be in charge of things in America. What a jack ass.

Aside from giving this controller a drug test the FAA needs to shut the **** up and let this guy go back to work. The FAA is the cause of this problem and they are the ones that need to take the blame and fix the problem.

None of that means that she is immune to a natural body reaction that it is obvious this guy had no control over.

Don't assume you know why this person fell asleep. If you are working in a room, alone, with little to do, at night, there is a much higher chance of you falling asleep regardless of your health habits.

Ohh, the poor little people don't like the truth. If you get in a car knowing that you don't feel comfortable driving the way you are supposed to, you are no better than a drunk driver.

Using spikes to blow out tires and then a tax payer's vehicle to crash into that car with blown tires is not really that hard to do.....

It would have been news if they would have failed something so easy that they have had extensive training at.

There should be a minimum of 2 controllers in a tower. People don't fall asleep on purpose, but sometimes no matter how hard you try it just happens.

With a job as important as this one there needs to be a backup in the event of a medical condtion or something like inadvertently falling asleep.

Why would you idiots come in here and act like this person is some kind of criminal? Do you think he did it on purpose?
