Like Voldemort, I think my soul must be split in pieces and you, wonderful you, must have a piece. I love your villain list, and I love your commentary! So true, all of it.

Except Zagato because I don't know who he is :) He sure sounds list-worthy though.

Maleficent turning into a dragon didn't scare me half as much as her creepy stupid evil minions. I used to have to scan through those scenes (which was a lot of scanning because I probably averaged about 3 Sleeping Beauty viewings a day as a child).

You lucky girl! I can't wait to read Nightspell. I don't think you should have to read one before the other, but I'm not sure. I think they have almost all completely different characters and are just set in the same world.

I just finished Queen of the Dead! It was so good. If you liked the first one then I think you'll like the second. I liked Mistwood a lot too. It kept me guessing the entire time. I hope you enjoy all of these! You have a great haul here. :)

Thanks! I felt the exact same way. I don't see why it needed to be a trilogy.

I agree with everything you said. I liked her writing style, but everything was too flat and I didn't connect with the characters either. I actually posted up my review today too. Do you mind if I include a link to your review?

If I just saw this cover alone I'd probably like it a lot more. It has a real badass vibe to it and I love the colors. But....I don't think it does the first cover justice. I love the first cover so much.

I love this movie!! You wrote exactly my feelings. I once watched it four times in one week when I was feeling down. It's just such a feel good movie. I also love picking out all of the little homages to Disney's classics.

LOL! @ "'you failed. LOL jk, you passed' moments" Really, I was very underwhelmed by the tests. I was hoping for a lot more. I wasn't feeling their romance either. I agree though, I like her writing and I'd probably try something else by her.

I'm so looking forward to Abandon and Cleopatra's Moon! Congrats to you for getting copies. You just took me down memory lane with that Saved By the Bell clip :)
