I'll still chalk it up to her meaning "children" figuratively.
He and I have both kept up with all the releases thus far, so I'm sure he'd be up for any of the ones that he hasn't done already.
I actually like most of Merriweather's episodes. Putting Your Hoof Down is one of my favorite Fluttershy episodes and a highlight of Season 2 for me, and Wonderbolts Academy is my favorite of Season 3. The only episode that got a "meh" out of me was Spike at Your Service.
I was featured in his Slice of Life review, and I would like to review an arc of the comics with him, but I want to have an idea of what arc I want to do before I approach him. It's best to have an idea already in mind when asking to collab with someone.
As much as I don't like Fosgitt's art style - he's currently my least favorite - I will give him credit for committing to said style. Despite the dubious nature of him joining the IDW MLP team (not knowing much about Pony before being hired), his style does have its fans, and there are a few bits and pieces in each of his issues that I do like, such as the page spreads in FF #11 and Celestia's design in this issue.
Whether we like it or not, he's here to stay, and if I can learn to tolerate Agnes Garbowska's style (it's actully grown on me lately), I can learn to do the same with Fosgitt.
I'm not surprised. The comics have always been behind the show since they both have different production schedules. The first comic to show alicorn Twilight came out in November of 2013, nine months after Season 3 ended, and the first comic to feature Twilight's castle came out in October of 2014, six months after Season 4 ended.
Well, the comics tend to lag behind the show because of their different production schedules. The first comic to show alicorn Twilight came out nine months after Season 3 ended.

While I don't think it completely ruined the episode, I do agree that the ending was rather rushed and could have been stretched out into a follow-up episode.
