hrm. Well, everybody except for Nightmare Moon, Discord, and Chrysalis is right out (Trixie was briefly considered but, well, she is not a good mare to work for). And Minioning for Discord might not be the best option either; godly power means he doesn't really need you and totally chaotic nature means that his treatment of you would be... mercurial? NMM probably wouldn't be too bad; she's got class, and a hell of an evil laugh, so she'd probably give the best classic minion experience...
But I just can't pass up a chance at working for Chrysalis. She genuinely cares about her minions. She's a log way from the top in personal power, but has better tactics than any of the other options and actually plans things out instead of charging ahead. And if I'm remaining human, I can theoretically act as a sustainable power source. Not enough to feed the whole swarm, but enough to be considered valuable and treated well.

I'm gonna just assume these are all noncanon. Alicorns having no earth pony component goes against word of Faust. Pinkie is not Tank's owner. There are six Elements of Harmony and the power of Love is something completely different. And Chrysalis's army of clones?
