The majority of the nation changes their clocks twice a year so if just changing the clocks is the reason why kids are going to school in the dark, the whole country should be in an uproar.

My issue is more with not being on Central Time. If we were on CT, most kids would be going to school when there was a little sun.

Maybe I would feel differently if I had a relative who suffered through the Holocaust, but I agree with ss92010. What's the point of wasting time and money to deport him?

You should have searched the nation for a hospital with the delivery rooms on the 10th floor and demanded room 1010. AND.....not pushed until 10:10am. Okay, maybe that's a little too extreme---happy 10th birthday to your son!

Most parents are always so careful and watchful of their kids around pools, lakes, in the bathtub, etc. Who would have thought about a bucket of water? How horrifying! My deepest sympathies to this little baby's family and loved ones.

One can be a moral, good person without religion. And one can be a truly mean person all in the name of God, as evidenced by some of the judgmental posts on here.

I really wish a teacher would start teaching lessons out of the Koran, or have a class with a Pagan touch so that we could suddenly hear that religion doesn't belong in the public school after all.

This child, ANY child, should not be made to feel like an outcast because he chooses to not participate. I work in the schools that have after-school bible groups, and if you think Christian children would never do such a thing, think again.

I don't object to students praying, reading whatever religious text they want, etc., as long as it doesn't interfere with another child's right to learn what public schools are supposed to be teaching. If parents want their children to learn more about religion, send them to a religious school, send them to church/temple/wherever, or teach them at home.

You know, I could almost be sympathetic if this money had been used for food and shelter, even though stealing in any form is wrong. But tanning? Mani/pedis? She needs to pay back double what she stole just for having the balls to make such a statement.

I have an autistic child. He is nonverbal and functions at a mildly mentally handicapped level. YOU try parenting or working with an autistic child for a few days, then try and say "it's really not much of anything." I agree that all children need discipline, including my child, but duct tape over the mouth is crossing the line.

I love Four Winds! But the last time I was there, I had trouble breathing because of all the smoke. As folks on here have told me before, if you don't want to breathe in secondhand smoke, don't go where smoking is allowed.....so I don't.

A tip to all the casinos: loosen up your slot machines a little and you might get more people to come in. Word gets around.
