Yes, I did have the same problem- I thought it was my server being a pain.
Well, this website does state that posts are subject to moderation; ust look at the very bottom of the page. As far as Glenn Beck/live- it's a whole 15 minutes, and at the top of the questions area it gives a general topic that they are trying to stick to. If it doesn't fall under that topic, it won't make it in- and in trying to cram hundreds if not more questions into 15 minutes, there's a lot that gets cut. My questions haven't made it in, either, but I will keep trying!
I will! It's a few hours drive for me to get there, but I'll go.
Thanks for posting that link! I knew there had to be something like that out there, but I can't ever seem to find what I'm looking for when I'm websurfing.
No, I did not vote for him, nor did I vote for McCain. I voted Libertarian!
I'm serious. They even called me to make sure I knew about it. Oh, and they're only taxing mine, since it's in my name. My husband's car is not taxed, since he is active duty. Maybe they figured I didn't need to move to the latest base whith him when he got orders.
When you find out what section you're assigned, let me know, I want to be there!
I think labor organizations started out as a good idea- but it has been carried to extremes. I have a friend in the aviation industry, laid off in retaliation for something he chose to do on his lunch hour. He received no help from his union in resolving the issue. And on the flip side, my mother works for a wireless company who employs union people- and the boss is afraid to fire someone who spends the afternoon sleeping at their desk, because the union will be all over him. So who oversees the union overseers?
Ummmm.... you do know that the Colbert Report is a comedy show, correct?
No, there is not accountability, you are correct. But how do we obtain that, is the question. I'm still a bit upset that I've been shifted to Virginia (my husband is active duty Air Force), and even though we are not residents, the state is levying a property tax on my vehicle. We did live in SC at one point as well, so I know that money wasn't going to road upkeep! But I digress. Does anyone know of a way to find out where our tax money- all of it, not just income tax- is going? Is there a way for the average citizen to introduce a bill to either a State or the Federal Congress? If not, maybe there should be.
