What Scienceandpony said. Hasbro has the rights to the characters, original stories, and original artwork. However, Mane6 owns all the assets they, themselves created (their original artwork), even if it's based on another creation. There are specific copyright cases which have proven this, though I don't know them off the top of my head ... feel free to Google!

That said, after my initial reaction, above, I realize that I may have been to quick to accuse Hasbro of malicious intent. Most likely — and until I hear otherwise — I'm going to attribute it to an overworked (and unpaid) "media presence" intern hurriedly throwing together something in Photoshop (as it's been pointed out in the original Facebook thread, some of the gradients are off, and her wings aren't the proper shape). He or she probably just Googled "Twilight Sparkle's Library," found this (admittedly) cool shot of the library (not realizing it was from Fighting is Magic, as Google's image search allows you to rip a picture without having to specifically go to the website it's on), and just pasted it together.

Then again, if you do look at the source image, it clearly says "MLP Fighting is Magic: Twilight Sparkle Stage - Ingame"
