If you can't fit in the seat, you have to buy a second one. Sorry if this is embarrassing but it is your own choices that have gotten you to the point where you are. There is always an excuse why someone is obese and in SOME cases it is legitimate but frankly even then, I am sorry, if you don't fit in one it is not right to make the person next to you suffer and not enjoy their full seat because you can't fit in yours. I don't know how many times I have had to sit next to someone who was obese and they completely encroached on my seat. Yes they are small, I want to enjoy what I DO have instead of having it taken from me when I paid for my FULL seat. I paid for mine just as you paid for yours and if you need a second then suck it buttercup and pay for the second because I sure paid for mine and Im not willing to share. I find it rude that anyone thinks that because they are bigger they have the right to take the space I paid for. Frankly you can call that discrimination as far as I am concerned. So because I fit in my chair you have the right to take some of it because you can't control your eating habits? I don't think so! I would be mortified if I spilled over in to someone elses seat. They paid for it, they should be able to use it! The entire seat! If I am too big and need a second, so be it, that is on me.

It's called suicide by cop! It happens more than you think! There are many who threaten it and they will take you down in order to get you to take them out. It is very real! As far as I am concerned, anytime someone pulls a gun on an officer and refuses to listen and act on the instructions given by the officer, should get a bullet to take them down. Don't give me the taser theories or they could have shot them in the knee, that will not stop someone from shooting you, it actually very well could make them pull the trigger. Officer safety first and foremost over anyone who is a criminal or acting in aggression towards an officer. They have the right and deserve to safety for themselves. By officers keeping themselves safe from harm, they keep the rest of us safe from harm.

What part of this story leads you to believe that the man who was shot was an innocent man? Why? Because he ended up on the other end of an officers gun? Seriously.... that is complete ignorance on your part Seattle Seasucks!

Beautifully written. I don't think anyone has written so eloquently and wonderfully as you just did. Thank you for your comments and in such a compassionate and poignant way.

One more Christmas Miracle needed for Kent Mundell. I am so thankful that Nick Hausner is recovering well and had the chance to go see his partner today. I pray for comfort and continued healing for him and that miracle for his partner. To every law enforcement officer, our prayers are with you as well, and continue to be for your daily safe return to your families. Thank you all for your true sacrifice for each of us.

While I think it is horrifying that two people are dead over an Ipod, I am quite happy that the man the police shot is the one going 6 feet under and not our officers. As to those who may have issue that the officers shot, Vu knew the rules and he knew that by continuing forward and not doing what officers told him to do, he was going to get shot. It is not brain surgery and if you can't figure it out and decide to do the same, the same fate comes to you as well. Vu is dead because of his decisions, his choices. He is one less criminal running around on the streets and I will say that I will not be shedding a tear at the loss of his life. As far as I am concerned he was a loss of life when he began his criminal acts.

I really enjoyed her spunk and charisma! She lit up a room whether on stage or in interviews. She will now be a light in the sky to brighten our days.

I agree with what you are saying entirely! Now that she is not a victim, now that we see she herself has committed a crime, her photo should be up front and center. As for those who have committed rape, men or women, they should be treated the same. What this woman has done is inexcusable! She should face charges and she and every other woman out there that falsely accuses should have her face up where everyone can see. I do believe that would make them think twice before making such allegations!
