I am in HR and need talking to people more than oxygen, but I HATE forced social interactions at work. So uncomfortable. So fake. I totally agree that Barclay would revert to the shelter of the holodeck rather than suffer a forced social interaction.

My mother is from Louisiana and the state song is You are my Sunshine, as she reminds us with glee when she hears the song. So, I fondly think of her when I hear it.

Agreed on the generational idea...my first thought was also Jonestown. I remember doing a report on it in eighth grade. It reinforced my decision to stay away from religion.
