Thank you. We know a few MO divers so there should be some good instructors in your area.

I am glad you enjoyed it. We need to provide numbers in both Meters and feet. We get a little sloppy that way. Over here if we say meters most have no idea what that is.

We will do this again later in the year or the spring next year and we hope to have a couple of video cameras in the chamber with it. It was too much fun!

That is it! Thanks for the link to the youtube video!

I hope to pass on the cockroaches. To my knowledge the name 'Maggot Man' or 'Maggot Breath' haven't stuck. Of course who know what they say when I am not around. ;)

Hi TweetAnt!

For that dive Mac was my buddy. I slowed down my decent and signaled that something was wrong. After a couple of half breaths I realized there was something wrong. I was still able to breath so I figured stay with the breath I knew. Mac didn't really have a chance to see that something was up before I started to ascend.

In hindsight with all the training and experience since then I would agree with you that I should have gone with the bailout.

As far as the tank goes I bought $1.98 "dust caps" for the tanks and they are on wither they are full or empty. As far as know which tank is empty I have a routine I use for my tank order and I can actually feel the difference in weight between a full tank and empty. In the cases I can't tell the difference I will put a gauge on the tank to check. I do also give the tank a quick short on just to "clear". I also do it just before I bring the tank into the dive shop for a refill.

I also like your electrical tape idea.

The gauge did fluctuate which is what I thought was odd. Knowing now it makes sense, but not seeing it before I was not sure what to think of it. That also encouraged me to keep on that reg.

Thanks for the comments!

We know how work goes. Diving seems to be a much preferred option. I work for pay for air refills. :)

What kind of diving have you been doing?

Thank you for listening. I find that most of the programs on radio over here don't talk about enough scuba diving either. :)

Which browser are you using? It may say "save link as".

Another option is to click on the download button from the flash audio player from the top of the post.
