Facebook is extremely important for me to keep up with my friends not-subtle bragging about the food they're eating, the vacations they're on, or the kids they just had.

In the black community, the father often isn't around and causes the mother to work multiple jobs. Hence, no real parental supervision.

It appears that you can't discern the difference between a kid falling off of a bicycle and a kid creating a safety hazard bombing down a road with a lot of blind corners at speeds over the maximum speed limit -- FOR CARS.

I could care less about kids wanting to be stupid and reckless and hurting themselves -- it's their lives. But when they want to put the public safety of others at risk with their recklessness then there's a major issue.

I ask you, will the lady coming around the corner only to face a 30 mph skateboarder directly in front of her be a "narrow-minded, grumpy old adult" when she panics, turns the wheel, and ends up crashing into a tree?

What about the man who comes around the corner and ends up with one buried in his windshield and has to live with that image that he killed a teenager -- even though it wasn't his fault -- for the rest of his life? Or is that just "kids being kids"?

seems like these kids on wheels are subject to all speed limit laws, no? Put a cop with a radar gun on the trouble areas handing out tickets.
