Call it a paranioa theory but this is a scenario I can see happening:____North Korea launches the rocket. It is in fact equipped with a nuke and because we didn't want to make an international scene we didn't blow it up immediately. Suddenly it becomes too late to blow it up. (You know, let it land and there goes Juno! or blow it up in the Jet stream and there goes Alaska!) So we end up loosing a city. ____We (the US) get pissed off and say we are going to go destroy N. Korea! But we can't use nukes because we might hurt S. Korea or China. We start setting up an invasion. Russia and China say "Oh no you don't! The Security councel has to agree on it!" Because they feel we might "perpetuate genocide" which is bad. ____So now we end up in a big geopolitical debate on if we can or can not retaliate against N. Korea for its attack on the US and because our administration is weak and our military is spread so thin we don't. But hey! We issue a strong protest and impose heavy sanctions. ____Yeah, unlikely, but sometimes I can't help thinking of worse case scenarios.

I fully agree that there should be mandatory drug testing on all public officials. My husband works in construction and he has to be tested annually and randomly because he might show up to work stoned and hurt somebody or do something bad. While he was working an Interstate construction job he learned that the State Inspectors not only did not have to be tested but most were pot heads. (Admitted directly to him by one of the Inspectors.)

I am sure that there is drug use on the national level, but politicians do not have a uniform drug code to follow like construction workers. OSHA does not affect them. Wouldn't it make sense to make sure that those people controlling our government and our system of laws do so with a clear and concise mind?

On another side note, if my husband were to show up to work drunk, he would be fired. Most likely he would not be allowed to ever return to work at that job-sight again. How many times do you think a congressman has voted on some bill after having a few too many at lunch or in his/her office?

It just amazes me that our president has time to even consider going on Leno and talk about his bowling game...

You would think he would have wanted to spend that time thinking about the implications of the TRILLION dollars the feds just created. Quick! Everbody convert their money into Pecos! They will soon be worth alot more then our precious dollar!

Personally, the most disturbing fact I read in that article was that Cesarean births were up to 31.8% That is nearly one third of babies being born in the US are born out of a major surgical procedure that is most often not called for. C-sections are largely used as a way for doctors to manipulate the birth to better fit their schedule and their pocket books.

The average cost of a vaginal birth is approximately $2500 at a hospital. The average cost of a C-section is $5000. A vaginal birth happens on the baby's schedule. A C-section on the doctors (so he won't miss his/her tee off times). Which one of those two do you think a doctor will push for?

The most common reason listed for a C-section is "failure to progress". That is BS!! What they mean to say is "failure to wait!"
