we can't wait for that! during the infomercial why not protest outside our local ABC affiliates? If we wait for them to start taking things away we have waited too long. There will be no more turning back at that time. We must move NOW.

Attention all residents of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico!!!
President Obama will be at Rio Rancho HS at 10am May 14th. Go to albuquerqueteaparty.com for information on the reception being planned for him. Unfortunately, the website's email list is down, so this will spread by word of mouth. The Protest will be heald on both sides of Loma Colorado, in front of the High School. We are to be there by 9am to be seen by the President as he arrives. SPREAD THE WORD.

Be comforted, because the final judgment is not for God's people. He already redeemed us. We may have to suffer before the final judgment comes. Christianity has witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations before. There were Christians in 1918 (the flu epidemic that killed more than WWI had) who fell into despair thinking that they were witnessing the final wrath of God. There were Christians during the Universal Persecutions of Rome who thought that was the end, but it was not, and the Christians remained the last bastion of reason in the Dark Ages. The Seals haven't been broken yet. We'd know if they had. The suffering to come is beyond comparison to ANY yet witnessed by mankind. Yet before that final judgment, there are the birth pains--the wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, and famine. We are in Mat. 6-8, but especially verse 6--"see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

Our God is a gracious, compassionate God, full of kindness and abounding in love. He promised we would be exempt from the final judgment, and I believe him. We need to rest in his comfort, regardless of the storm outside. I too believe there are things we must still fight for. In Genesis God promised Abraham that even if there were only 20 faithful in the city of Sodom, He would spare it for their sake. There is still a chance for this country because with God all things are possible. I pray that what we are experiencing now is only the Babylon Captivity--that there is still a future for this country after discipline. Sometimes I wonder, but God is the ultimate authority and he has a plan.

Before my mom died this year she would always give me a verse when I was troubled--Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah lived in our time. He is called the weeping prophet because it was his task to warn the nation of Israel that is headed for judgment. He watched God hand his country over to the evil it desired, and he waited as a more evil country was prepared by God to invade and destroy his way of life. Yet, there was hope, and there still is hope. We have a real hope, the hope of Christ our Savior--the coming King.

Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Problem: No where on that site are SOCIAL issues addressed. If we ignore the social issues we don't have an adequate foundation for a movement. I am a fiscal conservative BECAUSE I am a social conservative. During the Civil War the Union fought to bring the Confederacy back--but that wasn't enough for brothers to fight brothers and people to give their lives for. The social issue of slavery, freeing thousands of people--THAT was worth dying for. If we abandon the social issues, abortion, gay-marriage, immigration (which was on the site), etc, we do not have something worth dying for. We become what we're fighting under a different name. We must cling to the values of our Founding Fathers--liberty NOT license. Moral issues and political issues are one and the same. If we give up on the social issues we are consenting to the death of truth. Where do our principles of fiscal responsibility come from? The same convictions that give us social responsibility! If we deny one side of the issue, we loose the war. Social issues do not hold the Republican party down, they are our foundation. If we let go of our foundation, we are meaningless.

If anyone here is a student at your state or private university, I am trying to start a "Freedom of Academic Thought" movement on University of New Mexico campus. I need supporters and ideas. I saw a lot of young people at the Tea Party. With the university free marketplace of ideas rapidly closing down, even at the relatively fair schools, we need to be proactive in keeping it open. Please email me if you have an idea, or want to support this movement. If you're alumni or a parent of a student, we want you involved too. Thanks for your support and interest. God Bless!

You're right. I'm 22 and married--I didn't know what it meant. It was just as scaring for me. I would not want younger children exposed to that filth! If they are on primetime tv, they should keep the sex-jokes for after the show. I'm glad the mainstream media embarrassed themselves like that by showing their true colors.

I don't really like that they spam my email every time someone from my region makes a post....but that is my only complaint.

We no longer have a "free press." We lost that a long time ago. The press is dominated by one point of view...it is an ideological monopoly. Let's take a "free the press" rally to all our local news affiliates. They wont ignore us, and they might even join us. A lot of local news-people have had their careers limited because of their ideology. We should also stop watching them. I stream Foxnews for free, that's all I need from tv, the rest I research off the web. I don't even pay a cable bill cause of Netflix.
Here is the harder part. Academia is a huge chunk of the problem. I attend a relatively balanced public university (and by relatively I mean they haven't been been obvious about it. Of course the pro-communist regime artwork they just put up in the library today is changing my mind), but mine is the exception to the rule. Liberal ideology vastly outnumbers conservatives on campus and they are trying to filter us out. Even on my campus I was black-listed from the journalism department for saying the mainstream media shouldn't take sides in an election and try to influence the outcome. I am working on starting a Tea Party-like movement on my campus. I urge other college students who read this to consider forming your own. We have to stand up to these people and show them we wont take the shutting down of the free marketplace of ideas sitting down. They can deride us, lower our grades, or kick us out...any of that will just prove our point. Let's take back our country!
