I was just talking strictly in the wrestling sense, cause I think that's where Bruce was coming from. Of course Hulk will have heat over that and I think it's primarily from that. I don't think fans hate him because of his success.

I respect a lot of what Bruce Prichard says. However this needs context. Does this heat include or exclude his problems with all the racism? Strictly in the wrestling sense, I feel probably most all genuine wrestling fans appreciate what Hulk Hogan did for wrestling and respect him putting it on the map. However, it is known with many wrestler's accounts that he buried guys, played politics, used creative control many a time, huge ego, worked an extremely simple style and the same match repeatedly along with a super simple finish. In addition, it's kinda the Ric Flair problem too in that he wouldn't go away. the man should've retired 20 or so years ago and he worked a match as recent as 2011. All that can rub a fan the wrong way.

I'm personally in the middle on Hulk. He was a better promo than most give him credit for IMO, and he had a connection with the crowd no one has anymore. Yes the wrestling itself is bad but if the audience loves it, you've done your job. I think Prichard is a little misguided saying the IWC "hates" Hulk. More so, they're indifferent anymore with him.
