Question. I'm assuming one match in the Tournament per week correct (main event match on top of that) ? Assuming that takes us through the end of the year.
People need to realize sometimes you will have a more storyline progression/driven episode and sometimes you will have a match heavy episode.
That is who I'm pulling for as well. Hope he can get the upset! Plus there would be history between AJ & and Storm. Shoot Storm is the one that cost him a year of no Heavyweight championship matches.
I honestly hope Hogan ends up staying at least 1 more year. I think they truly found the spot that he is perfect for. The On Air Authority Figure/ GM Spot. He has done a great job in that spot. Hopefully it works out.
No disrespect intended here, but I'm the missing the point on how they ever "forgot"? Sure this was the first interaction between Bully and AJ regarding the match, but the downfall of A&8s and Dixie heel turn are very much apart of the overall story being told IMO.
I don't think it hurt them too much, if any at all. BFG series wasn't confusing to me at all and i enjoyed it. Aces & Eights may have had it a little rougher this summer than planned originally, but I believe the Grand Finale of that story has always been BFG 2013.
Honestly if most members of the IWC would get their head out of their ass and not worry about things the things that DON"T concern them one bit... TNA, WWE, and the wrestling business as a whole would be better off. Sit back relax and enjoy the show.
One venue I think would be perfect and hopefully if WWE doesn't have it locked up is the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln NE. Great college town/ in general great town to be in. Not far from Omaha. Venue just opened up. If they can be the first ( and perhaps only) wrestling production to go in there I think they can do well with that due to all eyes being on that one this year. Even though they toured there last year, the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix I hope has the aftermath of this year's Bound For Glory from San Diego.
Loving this article btw. I'm kind of a venue geek. I do event production for other events such as motorsports so this is right up my alley (in fact I'm apart of the Monster Jam Monster Truck show at the Von Braun Center arena thats mentioned above each year.)
Exactly, because unless i'm mistaken... Mike Tenay didn't say it was for the title as they went off the air. One minor error on hogan's part I do believe.
I didn't even realize there was "confusion". The way I see it is that the series ends one week earlier than last year with it being two weeks till the No Surrender special. Not a big deal in my eyes and makes sense. If it ended say a month ago, then yes there would be some issues. I think if anything cause caused confusion in this is not so much the actual ending of this years series, but more of a timing thing. I mean it does seem like a week or two ago that the series started back at the ATL tapings when in fact it was actually June. This year's BFG series has flown by.
