That is very strange. My unit is many years old and I also do Albuterol/IP combo. On continuos flow, it takes about 15 minutes. I would first try a new nebulizer cup and tubing and see if that helps. I use an AeroEclipse. What PSI are you running the machine at?

You should see little notches on the side. Take a mini flat head screw driver and start with the notches. It will pop off.

I had very similar feelings growing up. I felt guilty when I let a girl get too close as I felt my health and constant treatments and hospital stays were a burden. I convinced myself that I was being kind and considerate by not letting them get too close. I was a fool :) I will say however, that it took a very special woman to turn my thoughts around and make me realize that she loved me at least in part because of my CF and the positive things it has produced in my life.

I hope that he's able to change his way of thinking about CF as you can't really enjoy life if you always feel like you have one foot in the grave.

MESA has been shown to provide more sperm and sometimes better samples of sperm, but my IVF doc does not believe that the benefit justifies the cost. I had a perch biopsy done for both of our children and they produced plenty of sperm (some better than others). My biopsies cost 500 bucks.
