Oh my god, you said this better than I did. This is exactly what I was trying to get to. The "law" of attraction is custom designed to suck in affluent people who want more affluence and more stuff. It focuses only on attracting good things into your life and doesn't account for how bad things happen. And it completely ignores people struggling for basic survival, as you pointed out.
