I actually voted for "In Our Town," because that song had a very creepy air behind the cheery Utopian message much like the old WWII propaganda shorts that inspired this number. I mean, just look at the effect it had on BlackGryph0n in the Bronies React video! And it's not even a pure Villain Song, either. It's being willingly sung by the entire community! And nopony even thinks about the line, "You can't have a nightmare, if you never dream," and what that really means.

Besides, I knew everyone would be voting for the Coloratura songs anyway, so I went with the underdog. :P

As far as the current topic is concerned, I'm not really bothered by saucy pictures. I don't really seek them out, either. But at the same time, I wouldn't want any kids blundering into a series of those drawings just as their mom walks in, only to knee-jerk react like any true parent does. I'll just add my vote to keeping the racy pictures behind tags and links, because at least then there's fair warning.

I have to use a word that many others are using: disappointing.

The band of troublemakers vanish from the story. I guess their work was done? They really should have done something in this issue to perhaps soften the fact that they doomed Equestria to the Umbra. I did appreciate the Grand Moff Tarkin reference, tho.

I'm a bit let down that Discord didn't play a bigger role in fighting Sombra, too. Really, where's the fun in everything being covered in roiling shadows and darkness? I'd say he'd step up to the plate even before becoming semi-good.

To be honest, I think Sombra should have simply faded away in the end and died a (more or less) hero/martyr. His purification, resurrection, and redemption all at once just seems like too clean an ending to me. Something like this requires a price to be paid, at least I think so. Particularly if you're going to subscribe to the "Screw destiny!" philosophy.

Eh, oh well. I still enjoy the artwork.

Erm... That hair animation is a little too busy. It reminds me of a certain animation team that would turn Tiny Toon Adventures into Everything Bounces Like a Rubber Ball No Matter What.

Hiatus? Pthbbt. I've got DVD sets of all 4 seasons, plus all of Season 5 recorded on my DVR, plus the comics. I've got plenty to look at. I'm even thinking of starting a Let's Play of Mega Pony, now that I've gotten the kinks worked out on recording it.
