Hmmm, no one admitting to it..guess " Mums" the word...hehe. Sorry, just couldn't pass that one up!
I see the one guy has a nice tattoo on his neck. Nothing wrong with tattoos, I just think these guys each need another one on their foreheads...kinda like this ( L ).
At what point is enough taxes enough? We are faced with one of the highest unemployment %'s in modern history, the greatest number of foreclosures on personal housing, and have just had an increase in the State Sales Tax. I would hope there could possibly be some consideration to "tightening" our belts and look at wasteful spending to make these projects affordable. And, on the point of the tax being terminated when the projects have been paid for... are you kidding? When was the last time you have seen a tax eliminated?
First of all there is no evidence saying they called him the N word. From what I have read it is what "he" reported. Secondly, lay him off or cut his hours...or maybe say, " I got some other things you can do if you need work." Hmmm...like cleaning the carpet stains, runnings errands or cleaning the chicken coups. Hey, all work isn't pretty but work is work. And lastly, why didn't a private lawyer take the case and the EEOC did? Let's think about that one. Lawyer's get paid when they WIN civil suits. Could it be the EEOC is an government entity, paid by our tax money, needing to justify their salaries and here is an opportunity. The sad thing about this is that most of the time with the cost of defending lawsuits most company's insurance carriers choose to settle out of court than spend the money to defend. They would rather give him the $1,000 than spend $20,000 to defend.
I don't know this lady but remember reading the account when it happened. Guess I was surprised when I just read she was arrested straight from a mental hospital and taken to jail with a 25K bond and perhaps even more. It appears that she has some real mental issues. Maybe this is the process, and I know she broke the law, but it sounds like she also just spent 4 months in Broughton. I understand she will need to face these charges in a courtroom, but is she a threat to society that she needed to be jailed? If so, wonder why she was released from the hospital?
Well now, things begin to make a little more sense. Barnette is helping negotiate which lawyers are going to be used in the civil lawsuits. I believe the old saying of "follow the money trail" may just apply here. I now understand why Mr. Barnette is involved. Bless his little heart for caring so much about these people, hmmm...not to mention is own pocketbook!
Wow. Isn't that interesting. Mr. Barnette on the front page of the Post supporting another convicted criminal! The more I read about Mr. Barnette the more I agree with parris, he looks like he is just another Al Sharpton wannabe and looks to stir up trouble instead of helping solve things.
Why does it always have to be the race card and the police's fault. Perhaps Mr. Barnette you should work to help the family unit for all people, not just blacks, as I think this is the common factor lacking. If people have a family upbringing that rewards being a good citizen then the odds are good that person grows up being a citizen that contributes postively toward society. On the other hand, if they grow up being allowed to be involved in gangs and criminal activity then than is normally the outcome as well. It isn't video games, it isn't the police and it isn't the job of teachers. It is the job of parents!
I really feel bad about saying what I really think, but here goes. There is now one less gang member for the law respecting public to have to deal with, pay for or be concerned about their whereabouts. He will not deal anymore drugs, will not rob anyone else or will not pull a weapon on another innocent person. And as far as Kayxkc's comment about Tre being in Heaven. Only the Lord knows?
I beg your pardon westrr...Tina is playing ignorant. Some things just come natural to her.
