Unfortunately, the smart ones who are not politicians are not wealthy enough to even get on the ballot let alone getting elected. Intelligent poor people never get elected, they only get called for Jury Duty - that's as close as they get to politics.

Rhetoric keeps them from getting sued if they are wrong. It also keeps them from pissng off anyone that they need in the political process.

No one works for Quixtar. It was dissolved as a brand two years ago.

I replied to your comments as written. You came across as an arrogant
fool criticizing Amway for doing other things then what they say they do
(which actually is under another division altogether rather then
Amway). You showed your ignorance about how the business is structured
by that arrogance. You should blame yourself for your lousy method of
attempting to communicate with authoritative knowledge when you have
none at all. You were caught in a situational mistruth and you're
attempting to weasel out of it by throwing the blame elsewhere. Shame
on you.

By the way, so what if they do other packaging? There was no need to
bring that up at all, unless your intent was to stir the pot. Maybe you
would have been better off by saying that Perrigo is the actual
manufacturer of products sold by Meijer, K-Mart, Spartan Stores, and
every other retailer that sells drugs that have their brand on them. I
didn't see nor read where you wanted to 'educate' anyone to that fact.
Nor did you mention anything about any of the millions of private label
products that are sold under thousands of well known brands such as
Nike, Levi, Toshiba, Topco (a toothpaste) sold by several drug stores,
and others.

owning stock and being in management are two distinctly different
activities. I know people who own stock in Steelcase but they don't run
the company. I also know how the stock is distributed among the family
members - no one person other then daddy has complete control and thus
cannot make company decisions.

Day to day operations and decisions are conducted by Doug and Steve. No
one else. Dick does not do any of the management stuff. Oh, and yea,
several movie stars have made appearances at their functions but they
don't run the business either.

You're pulling at straws and making a fool of yourself for that type of
thinking. By the way, I don't hear nor read where anyone on this forum
goes after Doug DeVos nor that the other DeVos that owns Fox Motors.
You all need to get a life and quit blaming people for your missed
opportunities.
