1) I thought Ann was more like Laura Bush, favoring the pillbox (I don't mean Jackie's hats) - yes, I know, MS, I'm an evil extrapolator.

We do have a problem with meth precursors coming into our ports *cough* from China *cough*, and not all the consumption is external - maybe the US keeps better numbers or is more likely to self-report? I find that outside of the 20-some year-olds, discussion of drug use makes pot sound like opium in the western US at the turn of the XX century: a fringe, low class trap unavoidable for the lower classes (or "albañiles", in my personally witnessed statements).
