As an Indian in his 30s, who has been watching WWE since 10, I can attest that Indian fan base mainly consist of kids.. They are absolute marks and only love Cena and Roman Reigns. They hate heels. So Jinder won't draw in India. Maybe he will make headlines in news outlets of India which will advertise WWE widely throughout India which might attract more new audience. That's the experiment I suppose.
I am an Indian too and I know he isn't a draw. But Indian media outlets are writing quite some stuff about him and media coverage for WWE has been good. He's just used as a marketing tool for WWE to reach Indian audience. Indian media wouldn't have written or shown anything about WWE unless Jinder was involved. I guess WWE's purpose was just this. Hope Jinder drops title soon this is over and let him be built properly for a good run.

I agree. I got an autograph from him in one of the wwe events and he was super nice to fans. People should know where to ask autographs, photos and where not. It was a mourning not meet and greet !
Still way better than Randy Boreton !!!! I think Jinder being champion had shock value to it and makes business sense. Jinder looks like a new person now, thanks to his ripped body and new found persona. It's a win-win !
