LOL! Good research! I didn't realize that the banned ad belongs to chapters of Amnesty International, the UN Association, a Jewish organization and a Veterans group.

Dangerous terrorists and rabble-rousers, the lot of them! Ban their incendiary peacemongering before its too late.

Not it's not. You're mixing up two different issues. Notwithstanding shifting British legal opinion on universal jurisdiction, the example of that court demonstrates that mainstream lawyers and judges take allegations of Israeli war crimes in Gaza extremely seriously. Thus the ruling's implication that the ad is too incendiary is laughable on its face.

You may not, and maybe you're a lawyer, but a British court may well feel otherwise, if their abortive plans to arrest Livni in the aftermath of Operation Cast Lead are any guide.

Why don't conservative Jews feel free to call Netanyahu a panderer to racism? Don't they recognize racism when they see it? Conservative mobs on the streets of Israel show no such trepidation. It's not all that uncommon to hear them declare that they are proud racists.

How do you feel about that?

Politicians here use it but they have to be careful or they get their asses kicked.

In Israel they get applauded. There are virtually no inhibitions on hate speech in Israel. There is no hate crimes legislation.

Cold-blooded murder plus hate crime nets you 8 years in Israel, max.

epikoros, you are flat-out lying. You know I didn't snip anything off those quotes to make you look bad. You did that all by yourself when you repeatedly referred to "blacks" without any qualification. Either you just enjoy denigrating them or you're too autistic to understand the implications of your bigoted rhetoric. But you wrote exactly what I quoted you as writing. If you can't own up to that, that's your problem, not mine.

I know what you mean. =D I had to rub my eyes when I read that a SF court handed down a ruling like that for Seattle!

The other thing I pointed out to Bearcat is that, six years ago, a British court was prepared to arrest Tzipi Livni on war crimes charges, since she was a member of the war cabinet during Operation Cast Lead. It turns out that Livni wasn't in the UK. But if she had been, I doubt her arrest would have unleashed mob violence in King County, Washington. In Israel, for sure, but not in Seattle.

You can't be serious. Have you forgotten the incident in the UK, back in 2009 following Operation Cast Lead? A British court issued an arrest warrant for Livni over war crimes only to withdraw it when it was discovered that she was not in the UK.

We are not talking about marginal figures in the international community, Bearcat.
