Fearmongering from these groups can be countered with taking the teaching of heterosexual marriage out of schools! Prayer got taken out...so can this!

Washington residents of the gay community listen up! Maine has had their gay marriage/same sex union initiatives defeated through ballot voting. There seems to be a new set of stratigies among the far reicht wingnut, teabagging republican, bible thumping, family values groups. This time Main was bombarded with TV adds portraying children going on school fieldtrips to same sex weddings and portraying the immages of teachers openly discussing such in the classrooms without parental consent. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33729543/ns/us_news-l... TIME TO FIGHT BACK! Do not let this happen in Washington!

Why does it matter what else he has put in his mouth? It couldn't be anything that you haven't had in yours....unless you claim to be a virgin! And to quote one lame senator recently, if you are claiming virginity....LIES!!!!!!

Not being a believer in the Bible but having read it several times, I do recall a passage that stated "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son". What part of "God so loved the WORLD" do you thumpers not get? Was there an exclusion that I missed somewhere? I don't think I did! The WORLD people means just that...the WORLD...EVERYONE and EVERYTHING in it! God didn't make you a "special heterosexual" or me a "special homosexual", he made us all. Until you understand that simple fact, no matter what you interpret from your fairy tale book, you will still be labeled a bigot no matter what you sexual orientation is. When will humans start viewing each other as just that, humans?

Homosexuality is not a choice. If I had a choice, it would not have been this lifestyle to endure the ridicule and ignorance of my fellow humans for being "different". The reality is simple. Homesexuals are not "different", we are the same "humans" as heterosexuals. Heterosexuals have always found a way to justify being better than homosexuals..you are not! You contribute no more and no less to society than homosexuals (so you can reproduce...not necessarily a good thing since we have kids giving birth to kids now). Not to mention that some heterosexuals should not be allowed to breed to begin with! I won't go into those reasons.

Some of these comments are so deeply rooted in religion it's not funny. Not being one who believes everything one reads, I view the Bible as the largest # 1 seller of fairy tales to adults. It is filled with nothing but stretches of the imagination and totally written in second hand account, therefore building on the basis that it was written to accomodate the views of the time it was written. Not once have I read in the Bible that God or Jesus WROTE anything. It always states "Jusus or God said/commanded". This is much like the gossip game, things get completley altered and misconstrued when passed from person to person. This still goes on today, think of fishermen and the size of fish they caught...each time the story is told, the fish gets a little bigger.

apc, you are correct! Not only would I not walk down that section of Horah street, I won't DRIVE down it either. I don't think any of us need to explain why after reading what goes on there. This article and "tragedy" is a PRIME example of why most will not! I don't think I want to know people like these two brothers either, I might be the next victim of a video game fantasy gone bad!

Or does stupidity breed IGNORANCE?

I'll now be waiting on the lawsuit against the video game makers! What a joke!

Thanks geekchic. I have said all along that it doesn't bother me one way or the other...contrary to what a few have attempted to portray. That is what it is turning into on here is a popularity contest with at least one blogger. When they don't get all the attention and everyone does not take their posts as the Word Was Made of Flesh...that's what happens!

I would hate for people to injure themselves (especially their thumb) on my little ole' posts now. ;-)

I'll say thank you in person since I see that someone does not like it when anyone welcomes me back. No matter who it is. I bumped you and trebmal up for your comments and look what happened. There are some on here with serious issues! Be it that they criticize those that tell the truth or out of plain childishness.
