I'll be quick: The Toast, and the Toast Commentariat, has been my lighthouse when life got stormy. Without going into details, I faced some raging, dark and terrible waves my friends, but by keeping my eyes upon that Toastie glow on the shore, I managed to ride 'em out.

OMG...Clannad! Just the name brings me back to young adulthood...sigh... good times, good times, hanging out in "Irish" pubs in ye olde early 90's Vancouver...

We were more Celtic-punk, though; The Pogues (saw them live at The Commodore Ballroom), Spirit Of The West, etc.
