This better come out to Europe as well or at least get an English translation. Because I would gladly give my money to Nintendo for this (though if it only stays in Japanese it's...not that great, a lot of pretty pictures, but not being able to read everything would bother me a lot).

What exactly was he expecting? Seriously, it was pretty clear that there wouldn't be any drastic changes to the story or gameplay - double damage is good enough for me, I wasn't even expecting it to do Master Quest-esque changes. Hero Mode can be made difficult; don't collect any hearts, leave those Heart Medals at the Item Check etc...

Also I loved Fi! I liked her personality - yes, nearly non-existant, but that's what made her such a fun sidekick in the first place! It fit her perfectly, being slightly emotionless (fits with her being a sword and all that. I really wouldn't think it'd have fit a sword to have strong personality like Midna did. Swords are after all weapons.) and being just sent by the Goddess to guide Link.

If I'd bother to make an account I'd most likely vote for SS. Surprising thing to say here on a Zelda site, but yeah, personally I enjoyed SS more than ACR (though ACR was amazing game, still not sure if it's my favorite AC so far!).

Well, I guess these kinds of "deathmatches" are always a great way to manage stir up some good ol' fandom wars amongst people. :'D

I'm all for getting an original Zelda game for 3DS instead of a remake - even if it would be remake of one of my absolute favorites. Being a shallow materialist I am, I would buy MM3D and love it, but it'd a lot better to get to see and play something entirely new.

Though most likely it'll take quite some time before they even start talking about it (more) in public, so perhaps MM3D would fit well between the release of Skyward Sword and Zelda 3DS.

I knew they wouldn't give it 100! Because that would have to be "the perfect game" and it's a far too big claim to make, obviously it'll have to have something not everyone likes. But really, 98 is amazing number. (November seems farther away than it did around June.)

Skullkid is a bitter child, who was brainwashed by Majora. The power of the mask did not necessarily corrupt Skullkid, but took over his mind and his ability to decide for himself. But while Skullkid is not conscious Majora still acts out on behalf of him, transforming that spite he feels towards the Giants into an attempt to destroy the world. Skullkid's wishes, even if they are not as radical as "hey, let's drop a moon!", affect Majora.

I think that Skullkid himself is not the most evil, he's more of a lost child, but when you get a demon to affect and take over his 'hatred' and misdirect it towards every innocent citizen in Termina you get a pretty dangerous combo.

I think that the reasoning for their actions behind almost every villain is not that bad, but the way they try to reach those goals is. That is what makes them evil, the length they are ready to go for mostly themselves.

I am not surprised that Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest are above Skyward Sword in that list. The hype surrounding them, especially in Japan, is huge. So I was surprised it was so high, it's even above Kingdom Hearts and Super Mario! That's actually a lot coming from Japanese magazine.

I will be getting at least that green one - the art in it is just fabulous. (Kind of wish there'd be a bigger, good quality picture of it available somewhere, that looks like it'd be very nice desktop background as well. :P ) Gonna have to hunt for those around December then.

I play Zelda for the story, too, but everyone has to admit that Zelda has a certain routine, you go to dungeon, solve some puzzles, get a weapon or an item, you solve some more puzzles and then you beat the boss. But personally I think that only associating plot/story with that routine is wrong - you leave huge amount of themes, details, characters and sidestories without the attention they deserve. Ignoring everything on the side and equating story with a routine that borders on gameplay is, in my opinion, rather ridiculous.

I think that "Zelda could do without a story"-logic stems from it's incohesive storyline as series - that's why there's so many different timeline theories etc. Or from the fact that they ignored all the side elements that build up the story. On the surface a story might seem simple and shallow, but if you think different themes it represents you can analyze the story pretty deeply.

Sport-based spinoffs are so overdone. I demand some good ol' financial crisis puzzles (Should Hyrule give a loan to Termina?), giving dramatic speeches ("From Faron Spring in Faron to Lake Hylia in Lanayru a Twilight curtain has descended across Hyrule"), avoiding scandals, foreign politics, choosing the right cutlery to use during dinners, you would have to participate in different charity events (Drought in Zora's River), answer to questions without really answering them!

No, but seriously a spinoff is still a spinoff. What works for Mario doesn't necessarily work for Zelda. Even if it had a lot of effort put into it the risk of horrible characterization is huge. You can tell what the expectations are from how things are worded - "strong FEMALE character", not "strong character". Nintendo's all about business and to make more profit they might flatten her character.
