Ooorrr there is the possibility that people are texting more because they are afraid to get pulled over for making a call? You can hide your phone in your lap if you text, but if you put it up to your ear you could get pulled over... Personally I'd rather someone took the damn call, rather than texted in their lap because they don't want to get caught.

I can name more thn a dozen times where I have been in a care with someone who has picked up their phone and said, 'I'm driving text me,' thrown their phone in their lap and texted so they could hide their phone. If they weren't afraid of getting pulled over, they would be more attentive drivers because they wouldn't be tearing their eyes from the road to read a text.

Voting isn't the only way to make yourself heard, and I for one will not settle with just one form action on this.

Will I vote back those pub officials who made this possible? No.

However next November is to far away to wait for action, I will not sit on my arse for a year doing nothing. You can do that if you want, but that just isn't my cup of tea.

The time to get the ball rolling is now, not later.

If you read other sources it shows that the 29 who were offered likely initially declined or showed hesitation because the were offered the job 4 months prior to starting the work and it is hard to make a commitment to a temp job so far into the future.

However, had the appropriately advertised the work I'm sure finding American workers wouldn't have been nearly so difficult.
