Morrison DID want a pardon. You are too young to know anything about it. Crist is a Doors fan, and it's a really cool move that he did that.

Jim was an amazing singer and a powerful force in rock. He was also a poet. He influenced a generation. This young generation has no idea what real rock is. Manazarek, Krieger were all awesome. Very sad that music like theirs doesn't last long. I'm glad he was pardoned...it's the principle. Today, if he did that, he would be put up on a pedestal and honored at the MTV awards.

You missed my point. These "extremists" have faith in their mission, just as strong as the Pope's faith. They believe with every cell in their body that they are right. I know this because I lived in Muslim country for many years, and almost married a Muslim man. There is no changing them no matter how hard to try. They will die for their belief.....just as I would die for mine.

If you've seen a crush video and the sicko who gets off on it, you would understand why our congress needs to put a stop to it immediately. Jamming the spiked heel of a woman's shoe into the eye of a kitten and filming & selling this is a criminal act and should be stopped and punishment should follow.
