Defamation is all the left can do. Shame.

Here's a good well-researched book on the history of the region:

A Peace to End All Peace: The Fall of the Ottoman Empire and the Creation of the Modern Middle East

Why is the UN site in British English ("UN News Centre") and not in US English ("UN News Center"), especially if we are paying 22% of all costs?

Robert:

There is a significant error in the NY Post (and NYT) article you base your article on. From the first comment in the NYP article:

"According to the report, there are only 27 "confirmed" cases of "terrorist activity" and 47 suspected cases (based on as little as a single unverified source.) The Pentagon has also defined terrorist activity broadly enough to have previously included participation in an anti-Guantanamo film as a terrorist act. If your case is strong there should be no need to mislead. But your readers deserve a correction."

Robert: Your readers deserve a correction too!

Also, given that the NYP hasn't made a correction, how reliable do you think the other claims in that article are?

do unto others as you would have them do unto you
That rule is a reasonable conclusion for most people wanting to be left in peace and upon realizing that the people around them want the same. It's a consequence of wealth and the desire for life. No god needed to explain it.

a greater intelligence does [...] likely exist
That is a poorly reasoned (and even dishonest) argument. The potential existence of living beings that are possibly MORE intelligent is not even close to being the same as the supposed existence of some ABSOLUTE OMNIpotent ALL-knowing being. Again, no god needed.

The first Crowder video I thought was bad.

"person offended by a God whom he doesn’t believe exists"

That is just dishonest. Atheists are not offended by a "god" that isn't there, they are concerned about PEOPLE who claim there is a god and that the supposed rules of that supposed god should be followed by all.

The US was founded on humane principles that have EVOLVED as a consequence of western prosperity and the desire to live in peace. Before we had science and freedom of thought, the only vocabulary humans had to describe general principles (right to life etc) was by attributing them to some god.

It's time we've evolved past that and realized that it is our intellect and survival instinct that has brought us to this point.

Who was the off-screen idiot (old guy with white cap and yellow flag) who interrupted the interviewee and gave Susan Roesgen an excuse to abort the interview?

I figured it out: Anything ending with "php" will be removed. Knowing that, I'll repost my links...
