Also getting to set the equality rules are those who threaten to blow up the barn if they are provoked by equality. And you all know what I'm talkin' about.

Gee, I don't know. Why do the rabid anti-Americans in the great white north shoot their yaps off? And by the by, freedom of speech and association are in the charter. Sounds like he's defending the charter, unlike other, more "liberal", commisions.

Ah, another person new to the "Human Rights" game! I could explain the hierarchy of who's rights trumps who's, but I only have a free hour!

I respect your POV about inheriting a mess, but Obama, with all his bagage and work experience as an Alinsky community organizer, is not the voice of reason.
I can't take credit for this synopsis, but this is an abreviation of every Obama speech: "America is the greatest country in the world. Help me change it."
I accept that I don't know if it is true, but surely standing strong against the crazies with nukes is a more sure way of maintaining security than abject surrender. "Never again" has no codicil "...unless it is tricky to prevent."

Oh no, "the the rich assholes on Wall Street ... nearly totally screwed up the world economy for the second time in 80 years". Check your history- capitalism has increased the world's wealth by so much that now we can only judge the level of affluence we are attaining. I sympathise with your health problems, but they would be untreatable without the profit motive to encourage big-Pharma, part of the dreaded Wall Street, to develop treatments. Let's face it, if government was involved in drug development, we'd all have two heads.

Let's face it, the last time Canada had a truly trans-national federal government was the Mulroney government. Some parts of Canada may be unrepresented if one or the other party gets a majority? Tough, welcome to Alberta's place at the table.
