I just have to say how proud I am of Southern Utah. We had our Tea Party yesterday located in St. George and there were 3000+ people in attendance!! As a member of the committee we were overwhelmed by the show of support. And it wont end there. We are now planing a big event for the 4th of July! You haven't heard the end of Southern Utah. We will be Silent No More!!!!

Okay I'm MAD!!! It is raining here in St. George so we have our Tea Party moved to the college, they actually offered the area to us for free. But here is what has me just pissed. My good friend is a teacher at the college in the English department. Very Liberal. She has been warned in so many words that if she attends, or any one else for that matter, they may not renue contracts. She is really nervouse about attending especially now that it is at the college. What has me upset is that I have seen them protesting for things that are on the liberal agenda!! What right do they have to silence her voice, or anyones voice for that matter!!! NONE!! It is a right protected by our Constitution. People shouldn't be afaid of lossing their job because they choose to take a stand.

So now the President can now order a private business to fire their executives how can I fire a good portion of the sitting senators and representatives? More and more I feel like I don't recognize this country.

And - on this subject - I think it is GREAT the AIG guys got their bonuses. And if anyone wants to be ticked off about that be angry that you paid the perfectly legal contracted bonuses via a government that should have kept its nose and our tax dollars out of the private sector.

I was talking to my son about some of my concerns. Here is how the conversation went:

Son: "What are you most afraid of."
Me: "I'm afraid that the American people will wake up one day look around and realize that while they have been asleep Socialism has crept in."
Son: "Then I wont go to sleep!"

He gets it and he is nine.
