Oh wait, according to Hatch's letter (this is the subject of my last letter to him) he says there won't be paid volunteers. Only the leaders of the volunteers will recieve a "small living stipend". Sounds like paid volunteers to me. He also tried to con me with the line that this will increase the ability of people to volunteer and won't force anyone to do so. Bull crap. I read the bill. Since Hatch co-authored the bill with Teddy Kennedy I'd think Hatch would know more about his own bill.

I'm telling you, all these weasles have to go. Let's start with a fresh batch who know who they work for. In my opinion all an election is, is a interview process and we hire the one we want to do a job for us and these rats aren't doing their dang job.

At this point it really doesn't matter who won the election. Personally I didn't like McCain either but he was the lesser of two evils. So if I may make a suggestion, leave the partison crap alone. In this crowd it doesn't fly because we aren't a partison group here.

Well said dbronzell7. We want to fix what's wrong with our political system and the actions of the current administration are just making things much, much worse.

I've had it. I have absolutly had it. Utah senators have got to go. I am so sick of writing these guys and their reply basiclly says thanks for your opinion but I have a bigger brain than you so I'm going to do what ever I want. I have had it with Senators Hatch and Bennett all but giving us the finger. If anyone else reads this from Utah we have to vote these elitist blowhards out of office.

Very nice. I'm 100% with you. Requiring such regulations on voting would be setting up a new "class" system. The attitude of, if you aren't wealthy enough you aren't a citizen, will send our movement the same direction as a house of cards in a tornado.

I thought it appropriate to quote myself from Utah's local 912 site.
