'Beauts' is not *ideal,* but it's a hockey term. The name wasn't chosen to be, like "these players are hot" or anything. I do wish they hadn't chosen something that pretty much always has to be explained, though. And Buffalo has a lot to offer in terms of alliterative names: Blades, Blizzard, etc

On a family trip in August 1998, my sister and I had our hearts set on seeing the Backstreet Boys in Las Vegas but instead my mom made a last minute decision to visit another national park so instead of seeing the Backstreet's Back tour our rental car's radiator broke in the middle of Death Valley.
