I had to have one of those hygienic masks on my face today for a while as the air hostess sprayed the cabin. It was very claustrophobic. The, changing planes, there were swarms of those women all over the place in the lounges, all docilely breathing through black material and being shepherded around by their husbands. A truly horrible sight. They won't even insist on the right to breathe freely, for God's sake.

So many Iranians in the West are converting to Christianity that although I broadly agree with you, it is not always true.

The men may regret such marriages. I heard of one non-Muslim man marrying a Muslim woman. She treated him with contempt and taught the daughters to do the same, and the step-children were miserable.

Maybe not "sexually attractive" clothes, but I bet she learned how to sway in the street in a "sexually attractive'" way. Hypocrisy!

Surabi; In defence of Aussies, I have to say Australia was pretty peaceful some time ago, before ethnic gangs and so on. And remember, we have been harangued with insulting political correctness for decades, which has purported to teach us that we are inferior to every other ethnic group which is coming to our shores, while ignoring or downplaying the reasons they come here. (At university this view was rammed down my throat.) In the face of such insults AND abandonment by politicians and police, there has been in some quarters a nasty backlash.
In my opinion, we non-Muslims are faced with a threat which should unite us towards a common purpose. Please be calm and don't nurse a grudge against all of us. It is hard for us "white" people to be told we don't really have anywhere to call our own any more, ethnically speaking. The Western world is no longer ours. You still have India, if you choose to return or just for nostalgic dreams or family visits. Don't forget that.

Yes, I have these arguments all the time. But how do you win? They are not interested in the truth, but in what they think of as their terribly clever relativism. Tell them about history, tell them about the words of the Koran, whatever, but they won't listen, they just get creepy and patronizing, and laugh.

How long before they are sending for their wives and children, or, if they are unmarried, just sent young women from home.? (This is their "right" of course, but if not it is necessary because otherwise they will harrass or rape or marry local girls.) And who will pay for the families to come? Then the babies will come. Before too long there will be a sizeable Uighur population on the island with hijabs, a mosque, and unlimited demands. And, eventually and inevitably, jihad in some form or another.
Non-Muslims in every corner of the world are having these people dumped on them in one way or another. And Obama wants us to concentrate on what "unites" us with them. The only thing that unites us with them is that Islam dominates our lives.

Obama has done this before for a photo. He likes to show that he has a hole in his shoe. He loves that hole. Every time he wears those shoes he puts his feet on the desk and brings in the photographers. Look how relaxed he is talking to the leaders of the world. What a man!
