There was a Tea Party held this Independence Day 2009 at Veteran’s Alliance Park in Wayne, NJ.

A group of ordinary, everyday people banding together to voice their displeasure with a government who:

•Takes the money they earn and redistributes it to other people, private companies, and even other countries.
•Passes legislation without reading and understanding the bill as it was written, never mind any possible unintended consequences.
•Continues to allow our borders to be open and paying benefits to non-citizens with our money.

Granted it was a small voice, but it is our intent for it to grow louder, and lmore intense until it cannot be ignored.

We would like to take advantage of the power of e-mail to connect with like minded people (regardless of party) to grow our voice.

I have seen the “Don’t Tread on Me!” flag many times, most recently at the Tea Parties held across the country.

A friend sent me video clip of a TV host being bitten by a rattlesnake on the air. I just thought it was just an unusual clip and passed it on.

Later, I signed on to www.the912project.com and saw the segmented symbol from the “Don’t Tread on Me!” flag and realized:

* Why the Colonists chose that symbol. It is strong, potent and usually signals when it is agitated. You ignore it at your own risk!

* The clip itself symbolizes what is taking place today in our country.

The cast of characters for this viewing…
1. The owner and handler as Congress and the media.
2. The host as the current administration.
3. Carl playing the agitated U.S. citizen.

Perhaps the next Congressional mailing should be “Don’t Tread on Me!” flag images!

The two party system has been abolished.

There is no longer any check and balance in fact the President has defaulted to congress on spending and lets them plug in the numbers!

You are right I have no problem with moderate Democrats and I have the same problem with both Clinton AND Nixon... they lied. I have the same problem with the politicians now trying to prosecute people who advised Bush on the definition of torture after having been briefed.

The Constituton, moral values and work ethic have made America the greatest country in the world in which to live. Talk to people in our military who travel the globe and see poverty!

We have the richest poor people in the world. Some who are proud of the fact that they are second or third generation welfare recipients.

We have an elite class of actors who think that their ability to pretend convincingly gives them the right to denigrate other American citizens. Garafolo's 'teabagging redneck' has sent me very close to the edge if irrationality.

I won't put up with these folks any longer.... how about you?

WE don't have to survive the full 4 years. Only to the next election. In NJ and VA that will be the election of Governors. 2010 will bring Congressional races.

If we can keep the momentum growing and throw out enough Democrats we can force Pelosi and Reid out of their leadership rolls.

Start in our states to stand up against federal government interference in state business... education for one... drilling offshore for another.

Yes! drilling for oil . I asked Steve Lonegan, a Republican running for Governor here in NJ, what his position on drilling for oil was.

The reply was that he favored it and if NJ decided to drill offshore the feds couldn't stop it!

There is hope but at this point I believe we have to start locally and with the states and dismantle the machines from the bottom up and at every opportunity!

He is in the process of doing that as we speak!

He is doing it with Executive Orders! He advocates nuclear energy and signs an EO closing a nuclear waste dumping facility. How do you expand nuclear energy production with no place to put the nuclear waste.

So much for his promised transparency!

If they do it, it will set an interesting precedent.

Just look at all the baggage and thugs Obama has on his team.

We should be able to keep AG's busy for ages!
